Self-hosted AI Routing Gateway
Route, manage, and monitor your AI API requests across multiple providers from a single endpoint. Automatic format translation means any AI client works with any provider — with absolute control over your API keys, routing rules, and application stability.

Any client ↔ any provider
Stop worrying about API formats. Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex, Cline, OpenClaw — every AI client connects to ClawRouter the same way, and ClawRouter speaks to every provider in its native format. Requests and responses are translated automatically, streaming included, in both directions.
- Full fidelity: tools, reasoning, usage & images
- Zero-copy passthrough when formats match
Uninterrupted continuity
Built to handle the chaotic nature of AI APIs safely and securely.
Every provider, one click away
One-click setup for 50 providers — including free-tier options like OpenRouter, Gemini and Groq, plus keyless presets that need no signup at all.
Smart Key Rotation
Multiple API keys per provider, load-balanced with On-Error Backoff and Round-Robin.
Advanced Failover
Model-level fallback and cross-format provider chains keep responses flowing through any outage.
Multi-Provider Routing
Per-provider endpoints — manage OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and more from a single interface.
Zero-Buffer Streaming
Native streaming pass-through delivers tokens instantly — even across translated formats.
Combos:One endpoint, every model
Kimi, OpenAI, DeepSeek and more behind one virtual provider — one client entry, every model.
Grab every agent by its system prompt
Define a rule once and ClawRouter rewrites the system prompt of every matching request — before translation, before it reaches the provider. Prepend, append, replace, or surgically patch a single sentence inside a 20,000-token prompt. Conversation messages and tool definitions always pass through untouched.
- Scope rules per client, per provider, or per combo — they compose in order, one place for all your traffic
- Structurally surgical:
messagesandtools[]can never be affected - Works across all 4 API formats — prompt-cache friendly, byte-identical when no rule matches
Manage Multiple Providers
Add multiple API providers easily. ClawRouter speaks all four major API formats — OpenAI Completions, OpenAI Responses, Anthropic Messages, and Google Gemini — and translates between them automatically. Add, rotate, and monitor API keys with automatic error tracking and seamless fallback mechanisms.

One dashboard carries the whole operational picture — live traffic, full request history, and instant alerts. Keep scrolling: the screen follows the story.
Every request, one dashboard
A dark-themed control plane for your entire AI stack. Live request volume, success rates, token usage and estimated cost — across every provider and key — update in real time over WebSockets.
- Live stats, charts and per-provider health
- 100% local — your data never leaves your machine
Real-time request logs
Full request and response logs streamed live over WebSockets. Monitor usage as it happens, debug issues instantly, and track token consumption per key without leaving the dashboard.
- Live streaming logs with provider, status and model filters
- Persistent history — stored locally, auto-cleaned on your schedule
Notifications that find you
Stop watching logs. ClawRouter pushes instant alerts for key rotations, circuit breaker trips and fallback activations — delivered over WebSocket, straight into the dashboard.
- Key disabled, circuit open, fallback, recovery — every event covered
- Click any alert to jump to the affected provider
Advanced Failover & Fallback
Ensure maximum uptime with multi-layered redundancy. ClawRouter handles both model-level unavailability and total provider outages seamlessly.
Know your limits before you hit them
Subscription providers like Kimi for Coding and Z.AI GLM Coding report live quota windows — 5-hour, weekly and monthly cycles. ClawRouter probes every key and shows exactly how much headroom each one has left, and when it resets.
- Per-key quota cards with reset countdowns
- Exhausted keys back off until their window resets — then recover automatically
AI Prompt Assistant
Configure your AI agents with zero effort. The smart Prompt Assistant generates tailor-made setup instructions for 7 clients — OpenClaw, OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex CLI, Cline, Aider, and custom tools — for every provider you add, with the correct model IDs, connection settings, and your proxy API key embedded automatically.
- One-click configuration prompts for every provider
- Auto-discovery of upstream model IDs
- Proxy API key embedded automatically
Global Settings
Fine-tune every aspect of your router from a single settings panel. Configure global behavior including retry policies, circuit breaker thresholds, rate limiting, and security — all without touching config files.
- Retry & circuit breaker configuration
- Proxy API key & dashboard password security
- Rate limit backoff & failover tuning
- Logging, notifications & routing behavior
Three steps to total control
No config files, no YAML archaeology. Install, add a provider, point your client — the dashboard handles the rest.
Install
After purchase, your receipt carries a one-line install command for Linux, macOS or Windows. Run it once — ClawRouter is ready.

Questions, answered
Everything people ask before they buy. For deeper topics, the full documentation has you covered.
ClawRouter is a self-hosted AI routing gateway. It sits between your AI clients and your AI providers as a single local endpoint (localhost:3030), routing, managing and monitoring every request — with automatic API format translation, key rotation, failover and quota tracking.
Over 50 provider presets out of the box — including OpenRouter, Google Gemini, Groq and Cerebras with free tiers, keyless options like OpenCode Zen and Kilo AI, local models via Ollama, and ElevenLabs for audio. You can also add any custom provider with an OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini compatible endpoint.
Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex CLI, OpenClaw, Qwen Code, Cline and Aider all work natively — and any other tool that lets you set a custom API base URL can connect too. You point the client at ClawRouter once and it gains access to every configured provider.
OpenRouter is a hosted service: your requests and API keys pass through their servers and you pay per token. ClawRouter is self-hosted software: it runs on your machine, uses your own provider keys, and your data never touches a third party. You pay $20 once for a lifetime license instead of ongoing per-token fees.
ClawRouter is premium software with a one-time $20 lifetime license — no subscription, no recurring billing. The documentation is free to read, and the license is activated on your own machine after purchase.
No. ClawRouter runs entirely on your hardware. All configuration, keys, quota data and logs are stored locally. The only external requests are the ones you route to your configured AI providers, plus a periodic license check.
Linux, macOS and Windows. Installation is a single command per platform, and the dashboard runs in your browser at localhost:3030.
After purchase, your receipt includes a personal install command. On first launch the dashboard shows an Installation ID — send it with your purchase email to support@clawrouter.qzz.io and your license is activated promptly.
Yes — that is the core of ClawRouter. It translates between the four major API formats (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini and Google AI Studio), so clients like Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex CLI, Cline and Aider can talk to providers they were never designed for.
Models are defined in your AI client, not in the dashboard — ClawRouter routes whatever model name arrives. The exception is Model Fallback, where you can map a failing model to a replacement.
All sales are final. Because ClawRouter is a self-hosted digital product delivered instantly, please review the documentation and verify compatibility with your setup before purchasing.
